Liverpool would reach the quarter finals of the UEFA Cup, before losing 4-1 over 2 legs to Italian side Genoa, with Ian Rush scoring Liverpool's only goal during the tie.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere was however some silverware this season for Liverpool, and this came in the shape of the FA Cup. They defeated the likes of Crewe Alexandra, Bristol Rovers, Ipswich, Aston Villa, and Portsmouth on their way to the final, where they would defeat Sunderland 2-0, courtesy of goals from Michael Thomas, and Ian Rush.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOverall, shirt is in decent condition. Quite a few wee bobbles n a fair few pulls front and back. Plenty of life left in it still, and no holes, but good few pulls. Not too bad considering age really.
