Original and authentic Aston Villa away shirt, as used during the 2012-13 season, during which the Villains just about avoided relegation to the Championship, finishing in 15th in the Premier League.
A pretty disappointing season for Villa in all honesty, but not as disappointing as the season before, which ended with the sacking of manager Alex McLeish following a record breaking campaign (& not for the right reasons!). Villa were now managed by Paul Lambert, who in fairness, did manage to keep Villa up with the youngest starting 11 in the Premiership.
There were some standout moments for Villa, but also some shockers, perhaps none more embarrassing than an 8-0 thrashing at Stamford Bridge in December, which set off a chain of 8 games without a win, which included 5 defeats, including a 4-0 to Spurs, and a 3-0 at home Wigan. There was a cup semi final to look forward to for Villa, but the excitement was shorted lived, as they crashed out in the Semis of the League Cup to Bradford City, losing 4-3 on aggregate.
Overall shirt remains in very good condition, no real flaws to note. Size large, with measurements provided in pictures.
