Austria 2020-21 Home Shirt (BNWT) (XL)

Authentic and original Austria home shirt, as used during the European Championship campaign of 2020 (delayed to 2021!), during which the Austrian's would reach the round of 16, before defeat to eventual winners, Italy.

The side began their campaign with a relatively easy group stage, which they would have probably expected to progress from. They were grouped in with the Netherlands, Ukraine, and North Macedonia, finishing second in their group on 6 points, behind the Netherlands, who had won all 3 of their games.

Their campaign began with a 3-1 victory of North Macedonia, before defeat to the Netherlands, 2-0, in GW2. They would secure 2nd spot in the final game, by defeating Ukraine 1-0, courtesy of a strike from Christoph Baumgartner, to secure progression to the knockout rounds for the first time in their history!

They wouldn't get further than the round of 16 however, but did push a talented Italy side almost all the way, taking them extra time following a 0-0 draw, before goals from Fede Chiesa and Matteo Pessina secured a 2-1 win for the Italians.

Shirt is brand new with tags. Does have one tiny bobble on the back however. Size XL, with measurements provided in pictures.
