Barcelona 2011-12 Home Shirt (L)

Authentic and original Barcelona home shirt, as used during the 2011-12 season, which was Pep Guardiola's final season in charge of the Catalonian club.

Winning a whopping 4 trophies this season, but somehow neither of the big 2 (La Liga or the UEFA Champions League), it could be said that this season was somewhat of a disappointment, testament to how good Barcelona had it in the late 00s! Pep stepped down on a high however, winning the Copa del Rey in his final game - a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao.

Real Madrid amassed a record 100 points in La Liga, so Barcelona's 91 points, despite being an incredible total, paled in comparison to the league winners, who lost just twice all season! Barca did get the better of Real in the Super Cup however, defeating them 5-4 on aggregate, following a thrilling 3-2 victory at the Camp Nou, courtesy of a last gasp winner from Lionel Messi.

The UEFA Champions League campaign would end at the semi final stage, with English side Chelsea defeating them 3-2 on aggregate following a 2-2 draw at the Camp Nou in the 2nd leg, thanks to £50 million man Fernando Torres scoring in the 92nd minute to send the Blues through!

There were still personal highlights for Barcelona this season, including yet another whopping season of goal getting for Lionel Messi, who smashed in a ridiculous 73 in all competitions, hitting 50 in the league alone! To show just how pivotal his goals were to Barcelona, the 2nd top scorer, Cesc Fabregas found the net 15 times, with only 9 coming in La Liga!

Shirt is in absolutely fabulous overall condition, and is a size large. Measurements provided in pictures.
