Authentic and original Coventry City home shirt, as used during the sides 125th Anniversary season of 2008-09, during which the Premiership new boys would finish in 17th in the Championship under the guidance of Chris Coleman.

The side finished 4 places better off than their 21st position finish from the season before, with notable results including an opening day 2-0 win over Norwich, a 2-1 home win over Wolves, and a resounding 4-1 victory over Southampton. Clinton Morrison finished as the club's top scorer, with 10 league goals, and 12 in all competitions.

For Coventry this season, their most exciting competition came in the form of the FA Cup, where they would reach the quarter finals! They defeated Kidderminster Harriers 2-0 in the third round, before beating Torquay and Blackburn Rovers (via a replay) in round 4 and 5, before goals from Didier Drogba, and Alex put them out in the quarter finals, losing 2-0 at home to Chelsea.
