Holland 2008 Away Shirt (XL)

Original and authentic Holland away shirt, as used during the Euro 2008 championships in Austria and Switzerland, during which the Dutch reached the quarter finals.

Holland were placed in the 'Group of Death' at this tournament, but passed each test with flying colours, gaining maximum points from fixtures against Italy, France, and Romania, all of whom (at the time) were top 10 ranked European nations. Infact, the Dutch were near perfect in the group stages, scoring 9 goals in their games, and conceding just once, that being a Thierry Henry strike, in a 4-1 drubbing of France on match day 2. They beat Italy 3-0, and Romania 2-0 to secure a quarter final date with Russia, who themselves produced an exceptional performance to end any hopes of a trophy win for the Dutch, beating them 3-1 thanks to goals from Roman Pavlyuchenko, Dmitri Torbinski, and starboy Andre Arshavin.

Players to play for Holland at this time included the likes of Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Robin Van Persie, Dirk Kuyt, and Manchester United legend, Edwin Van Der Sar. Wesley Sneijder was also among the stars in the Dutch lineup, and he claimed 2 man of the match awards during the group stage wins against both Italy, and France.

Shirt is in good overall condition. One tiny snag to front as shown. No other issues. Size XL, with measurements provided in pictures.
