Italy 1990 Track Jacket (M)

Authentic and original Italy track jacket, as used during the World Cup campaign of 1990, which the Italians would host, eventually reaching the semi finals before elimination to Argentina, via a penalty shootout. Jacket is the player issue version, with proof coming from the IP Sponsorship to the front, which was not available on standard issue track jackets.

A relatively decent campaign for Italy, although one they would've wanted to win on their own turf, they got off to an excellent start by defeating Austria in the tournaments opening match, before following this up with victories against the United States, and Czechoslovakia, meaning they topped their group with maximum points. From here there would be comprehensive progression in the round of 16, with a straightforward win over Uruguay, by 2 goals to nil.

They would then defeat the Republic of Ireland in the quarter finals, winning 1-0, before reaching the semi finals, ultimately losing 4-3 on penalties to the Argentines, following a 1-1 draw in 120 minutes. There would be some slight reprieve, as they won the 3rd place play off, defeating England.

Overall, jacket is in excellent condition, couple minor signs of wear but no real flaws. Size medium, would also do small, with measurements provided in pictures.
