Middlesbrough 2023-24 Home Shirt (XL)

Authentic and original Middlesbrough home shirt, as used during the 2023-24 season, during which the side would finish in 8th in the Championship, under the guidance of former Manchester United midfielder, Michael Carrick.

When Carrick took over Boro, they were bottom of the Championship, so it was testament to the job he did that he had them in conversations for automatic promotion, before some faltering form saw them fall away into play off contention, before falling out the top 6 entirely, ultimately ending the season 4 points off 6th placed Norwich City. They lost 5 of their opening 7 league games, before losing just once in the next 9, going on a 6 game winning streak, which helped propel them up the league, ultimately to no avail.

In domestic cup competition, the side would reach the 3rd round of the FA Cup, before defeat to Aston Villa, but would manage to get to the semi finals of the League Cup, before a 6-2 slaughtering against Chelsea, although they did claim a famous 1-0 win in the first leg!

Overall, shirt is in excellent condition. Size XL, with measurements provided in pictures.
