Scotland 2007-08 3rd Shirt (M)

Authentic and original Scotland third shirt, as used between the years of 2007 and 2008, during which the Scottish would attempt to qualify for the Euro 2008 Championships, ultimately failing in their quest to do so.

This was agonisingly close for Scotland to finally end the wait for a major international tournament appearance, their last being in 1998, but they couldn't quite stretch far enough to reach Italy or France. They ended up in 3rd, on 24 points, just 2 points behind qualified France, and only 5 points off the Italians who topped the group!

There were some fantastic results for Scotland during qualifying, including an emphatic 6-0 win over the Faroe Islands, as well as an incredibly impressive 1-0 victory over France, with Gary Caldwell scoring the winner at Hampden. Ultimately, their qualifying dreams would be dashed by Italy, who defeated them 2-1 at Hampden, courtesy of a last minute goal from Christian Panucci, which in turn secured their qualification.

Overall, shirt is in very good condition. A few bobbles here and there due to age, but no major flaws. Size medium, with measurements provided in pictures.
