Switzerland 2020-21 Away Shirt (M)

Authentic and original Switzerland away shirt, as used during the European Championship campaign of 2020 (actually delayed until 2021) during which the Swiss would reach the quarter finals of the tournament, before elimination at the hands of Spain.

Switzerland qualified from the group stage courtesy of a 3rd placed finish, with them being one of the four best 3rd placed teams, earning them a route to the knockouts. Their group stage began with a 1-1 draw against Wales, during which Breel Embolo gave the side the lead, before Kieffer Moore equalised for the Welsh. They followed this up with a 3-0 defeat to Italy, before finally recording their first victory in the final game, beating Turkey 3-1.

From here, they would be given a first knockout round match against 2018 World Cup Winners, France, with the match producing arguably the game of the tournament! Switzerland took the lead after just 15 minutes, before Karim Benzema, and Paul Pogba put France into a 3-1 lead with 15 minutes to go. However, 2 goals in the final 10 minutes from the Swiss took the game to extra time, and ultimately penalties, where they would score 5 perfect spot kicks to send themselves through at the expense of the French!

Their luck would however run out in the quarter finals, against Spain, where they again would manage to come from behind to take the game to penalties, but this time, the Spanish had too much about them, winning the shootout 3-1.

Overall, shirt is in very good condition. One small pull to the front. No other issues. Size medium, with measurements provided in pictures.
