Authentic and original Watford away shirt, as used during the 1995-96 season, during which the Hornets would compete in the First Division, which was the second tier of English football.

Finishing the season under the guidance of Graham Taylor, Watford finished in an extremely disappointing 23rd position, leading to their relegation from England's 2nd tier, finishing four points from safety. They started the season under the guidance of Glen Roeder, but he was given the sack in February, following a spell which had seen them win just twice since October! Taylor was brought in as Director of Football, with Kenny Jackett operating as head coach, but the combination of the two couldn't stop the Hornets inevitable slide down the table.

In domestic cup competition, the side would compete in both the League Cup, and the FA Cup, reaching the 3rd round of both competitions, before elimination at the hands of Wimbledon (via a replay) in the latter, and to Blackburn Rovers in the former, losing 2-1 at Vicarage Road.

Overall, shirt is in okay condition. Loads of bobbles across the shirt, probably typical for a shirt of this age, especially with this material. Few wee pulls as well across front and back. Definitely plenty life in it still. Sponsor is still superb. Number 7 on the back is a bit cracked - not a match issue shirt as number isn't the correct colour, nor is it stitched on, so just standard issue. Size Large, with measurements provided in pictures.
