Argentina 2002-04 Home Shirt (L)

Authentic and original Argentina home shirt, as used during the 2002 World Cup campaign in Korea and Japan, during which the Argentines would crash out in the group stages.

A disappointing campaign for Argentina overall, who were tipped to go on to win the entire tournament, but in actuality, they would fail to even progress from the group stages, finishing 3rd, behind Sweden and England, with Nigeria taking 4th place in the group. Their campaign actually got off to a great start, with a 1-0 victory over Nigeria, courtesy of a strike just after the hour from Batistuta. From here however it was all downhill... They would lose their 2nd group game to England, by a scoreline of 1-0, courtesy of a penalty from David Beckham just before half time. Their group stage (and tournament) ended with a 1-1 draw against group winners Sweden.

Players to play for Argentina at this tournament included the likes of Juan Sebastian Veron, Javier Zanetti, Walter Samuel, and former Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino.

Overall, shirt is in fantastic condition, with no flaws to note. Size large, with measurements provided in pictures.
