Ascoli 2015-16 Home Shirt (XL)

Authentic and original Ascoli home shirt, as used during the 2015-16 season, during which the side competed in the Serie B, following promotion from Serie C the season before. Shirt is complete with nameset of attacker Pietro Tripoli.

A product of the Palermo youth academy, Tripoli didn't make an appearance for his hometown side, before signing for Varese in 2007, making over 100 appearances over the course of 6 years, before initially joining Ascoli on loan in 2013-14, re signing permanently in the 2015-16 season. In his first spell with Ascoli he made 29 appearances, scoring 11 times, while he made another 14 appearances after signing permanently, scoring twice before moving to Mantova. He now plays his football with lower league side Gallarte Calcio.

As for Ascoli, they would finish in 14th this season, a pretty steady return avoiding relegation, finishing on 47 total points. They would crash out of the TIM Cup, losing 2-1 to Cosenza. Players to play for the side this season included a couple of youth stars, including Federico Di Marco, and Jakub Jantko, both of whom enjoyed stellar loan spells, with the latter providing 14 goal contributions this season.

Overall, shirt remains in good condition. Few wee marks to the front, and the very slightest peeling to numberset, shouldn't get any worse. Size XL, but better fitting for a large, with measurements provided in pictures.
