Authentic and original Bayern Munich home shirt, as used during the 1995-96 season, during which the German side would finish second in the Bundesliga, whilst also winning the UEFA Cup.
Initially being managed by Otto Rehhagel, before German legend Franz Beckenbauer took the reigns in April, Bayern invested in the playing squad heavily this season, in the hopes of bettering their poor 6th place finish from the season prior. Unfortunately, manager Rehhagel failed to get on with many of the new signings, including Jurgen Klinsmann, who criticised the Boss's outdated style of play, citing it as a factor for the sides poor performance.
The German striker still managed to produce the goods however, scoring 16 league goals, and 31 in all competitions (including 15 goals in the UEFA Cup), as he finished as the club's top scorer this season. His goals proved vital in the UEFA Cup, as Bayern won the competition, beating French side Bordeaux 5-1 over 2 legs, with Klinsmann scoring the 5th of 5 goals.
Overall, shirt remains in excellent condition. No major pulls or bobbles. Some very slight greying to the Opel sponsor, but this is expected with age. Size XL, with measurements provided in pictures.
