Birmingham City 2004-05 Away Shirt (XL)

Authentic and original Birmingham City away shirt, as used during the 2004-05 season, during which the second city side finished in 12th in the Premiership, under the guidance of Steve Bruce.

Having finished in 10th the season before, Birmingham couldn't quite build on what was an impressive campaign, with a final total of 45 points, 5 less than the previous seasons 50. They did however break their transfer record this season, bringing in Emile Heskey from Liverpool, for a total fee of around £6.25 million, which was more than repaid by the striker, as he finished as top scorer, with 10 Premiership goals, and 11 in all competitions.

There was to be no great cup run for Birmingham this season either. They reached the fourth round of the FA Cup, but would be knocked out by Chelsea, following a 2-0 away defeat. It was a similar story in the League Cup too, as they reached the 3rd round, before elimination at the hands of Fulham, following a 1-0 home loss.
