Blackburn 2008-09 Away Shirt (M)

Authentic and original Blackburn Rovers away shirt, as used during the 2008-09 season during which the side would finish in 15th in the Premiership, finishing the season under the guidance of Sam Allardyce.

A major fall off from a 7th place finish the season before, partly due to the departure of manager Mark Hughes to Manchester City before the beginning of this season, Blackburn would be bitterly disappointed with the campaign they produced, which led to Paul Ince's departure following a 6 game losing streak between November and December, before big Sam tried to steady the ship.

He didn't do too bad, losing the expected games against the traditional big 6, but picking up vital points against the likes of Portsmouth, Wigan, and Hull, as well as an impressive victory over Spurs. He took the side to the fifth round of the FA Cup, before a shock defeat to Championship Coventry, losing 1-0 at the Ricoh.

Overall, shirt remains in very good condition. Sponsor remains bright and clean, and shirt is free from any pulls or bobbles. Size medium, with measurements provided in pictures.
