Borussia Dortmund 2017-18 Home Shirt (S)

Authentic and original Borussia Dortmund home shirt, as used during the 2017-18 season, during which the German side would finish in fourth in the Bundesliga, under the guidance of firstly Peter Bosz, and then Peter Stoger.

The first Peter was given his marching orders in December, to be swiftly replaced by his namesake the very same day, following a disappointing run of 8 games without victory between October and December, including 3 straight defeats! Peter Stoger would steady the ship slightly after taking over, leading Dortmund to a 12 game unbeaten streak (in the league), before they got thumped 6-0 by Bayern Munich at the Allianz.

They further competed in the DFB Pokal, where Bayern would again be their downfall, this time defeating them 2-1 in the round of 16. The Super Cup at the beginning of the season was no different. Dortmund held Bayern to a 0-0 draw, taking the game to penalties, before losing 5-4, with Bayern dispatching 5 perfect spot kicks. Infact, they lost to Bayern all 4 times this season, also losing at the Signal Iduna Park, 3-1 in November. Players to play for Dortmund this season included the likes of Marco Reus, Jadon Sancho, and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, who scored a rather impressive 21 goals in all competitions.
