Costa Rica 2005 Away Shirt (S / M)

Authentic and original Costa Rica away shirt, as used during the qualifying process for the 2006 World Cup, which the nation successfully qualified for. 

Being placed in the CONCAF region of the qualifying process, the Costa Ricans only just edged through the preliminary stage of qualifying - winning their second round knockout match against Cuba by virtue of the away goals rule, following a 3-3 aggregate draw. From there however, they looked assured in their bid for qualification, topping their second round group, finishing above 2nd placed Guatemala on goal difference.

From here they would enter the third round of qualifying, which brought a final group stage, of all teams that had finished in the top 2 of their initial groups. They would finish 3rd in their final qualifying group, securing the 3rd and final automatic qualifying place, finishing 3 points clear of Trinidad and a Tobago, who would have to settle for a spot in the inter confederation play offs, to determine their fate.

 Overall, shirt is in excellent condition, with one small mark to the front. Rest of the shirt is all good. It's tagged a small, but will easily fit a medium too. Measurements provided in pictures.
