Frankfurt 2000-01 Home Shirt (L)

Authentic and original Frankfurt home shirt, as used during the 2000-01 season, during which the German side finished in 17th in the Bundesliga, being managed by 3 different coaches during the season, all of whom resigned!

Firstly being led by future Fulham manager Felix Magath, he would resign at the back end of January, before Rolf Dohmen came in and did similar in April. The final man, Friedel Rausch, resigned in May, lasting just over 1 month! Frankfurt finished 17th, resulting in relegation to the 2nd division of German football, which meant in 2001 they would play outside the top flight of German football, for only the 3rd time in 102 seasons.

In domestic cup competition, the side would be knocked out in the very first round of the DFB Pokal, being absolutely slaughtered by the RESERVE Stuttgart side, in front of a crowd of just 1500 people! Polish striker Pawel Kryszalowicz finished as top scorer, with a measly 7 in all competitions.

Shirt is in okay condition overall. The actual material of the shirt is still bang on, and in great condition. The Frankfurt badge however has some cracking to the top as seen, but this is reflected in price. Barring this, shirt is all good. Size Large.
