Germany 2004 Home Shirt (XL)

Authentic and original Germany home shirt, as used during the European Championship campaign of 2004, during which the Germans would shockingly exit the tournament at the group stages!

The Germans were grouped with Czech Republic, The Netherlands, and Latvia, in a group that they likely would've expected to have progressed from, but in actuality, they would fail to win a single game! They began with a 1-1 draw against Holland, before a 0-0 draw against Latvia meant they were needing all three points against group leaders Czech Republic, to ensure progression.

Michael Ballack opened the scoring for the Germans after 21 minutes, but Marek Heinz pulled it level just 9 minutes later, before Milan Baros scored the decisive winner in the 77th minute, giving the Czech Republic a perfect 3/3 in the group, and leaving Germany stranded in 3rd, eliminated from the tournament.

Overall, shirt remains in excellent condition. No real flaws to note. Size XL, but will do XXL too, with measurements provided in pictures.
