Japan 2008 Home Shirt (S)

Authentic and original Japan home shirt, as used during the 2008-09 season, during which the Japanese would partake in qualifying for the 2010 World Cup finals, ultimately being successful in their qualification.

The Japanese were placed in group 2 of qualifying for the World Cup, alongside Bahrain, Oman, and Thailand, progressing with relative ease, finishing top of their group on 13 points, having lost only once, to Bahrain, and drawing once against Oman.

They would then be placed into a second qualifying group, this one significantly tougher than the first - featuring 5 teams instead of four, with one being group winners Australia. They would finish second, on 15 points, again having only lost once, this time a 2-1 defeat to the Aussies, as they would progress automatically to the final tournament!

Overall, shirt is in superb condition. Really smart piece, with no pulls or major damage. One tiny, tiny bobble beside the climacool logo, but it is extremely minor. Size small, with measurements provided in pictures.
