LA Galaxy 2007-08 Polo Shirt (L)

Authentic and original La Galaxy polo shirt, designed for the 2007-08 season, to commemorate the arrival of superstar David Beckham ahead of the new season. Shirt was created with Beckham's nameset and number 23 to the back.

Beckham signed for Galaxy on a free transfer this season, following an illustrious career which had taken him from Manchester to Madrid (with a stint in Preston in between!), and ultimately to the States, where he has ultimately moved out to, building his own club, Inter Miami CF, and could probably be said to be one of the modern day pioneers of 'Soccer' in the States. He made just shy of 100 league appearances at Galaxy - over 100 if counting all competitions - and scored 18 league goals, with spells at both AC Milan and Paris Saint Germain sandwiched in between too.

In total, Beckham has made over 700 career appearances, scoring 129 goals, winning league titles in England, Spain, France, and the USA, and also finished as runner up in the 1999 Ballon d'Or.

Overall, shirt is in okay condition. It's got an imprint to the front from what must've been a nike shirt pressed against it, and this is prevalent. No other real issues, but this is reflected in price. Size large, with measurements provided in pictures.
