Lyon 2021-22 Away Shirt (L)

Authentic and original Lyon away shirt, as used during the 2021-22 season, during which the side would finish in 9th in Ligue 1, under the guidance of Peter Bosz.

This was a relatively poor league season for Lyon, finishing behind the likes of Lens, Strasbourg, and a whopping 25 points behind title winners PSG! They won 17 of their 38 league games, while losing on 10 occasions, with 7 of these defeats coming away from home. In domestic competition, they would also compete in the Coupe de France, however their time in the competition would be short lived, with the club ultimately being expelled from the tournament, due to violent behaviour from their fans!

The side would also take part in European competition this season, namely the UEFA Europa League, where they would reach the quarter finals. Their journey began by topping their group stage, finishing above Scottish side Rangers, before defeating Porto 2-1 on aggregate in the round of 16. West Ham United would ultimately put them out in the quarter finals, defeating them 4-1 over 2 legs. Moussa Dembele finished as top scorer for this season, with an impressive 22 goals in all competitions.

Shirt is in excellent condition overall. No flaws to note. Size large, with measurements provided in pictures.
