Marseille 2016-17 Home Shirt (S)

Authentic and original Marseille home shirt, as used during the 2016-17 season, during which the side would finish 5th in Ligue 1, finishing the season under the guidance of Rudi Garcia.

The former European Cup winners actually began the campaign with Franck Passi in charge, but they would relieve him of his duties following a miserable run that saw them win just 3 of their opening 9 league games. They would then appoint Garcia, who, after a bit of a slow start, got Marseille firing, winning all 4 league matches in December, and finishing the league campaign on an excellent 11 game unbeaten run!

In domestic cup competition, the side would reach the round of 16 in the Coupe de France, having beaten Toulouse and Lyon in the opening rounds, both in extra time, before defeat to Monaco, this time losing 4-3, again after extra time. They would also compete in the Coupe de La Ligue, again reaching the quarter finals, before defeat to Sochaux, on penalties, following a 4-3 defeat.

Overall, shirt is in okay condition. Few wee marks here and there, particularly to the front. Size small, with measurements provided in pictures.
