Northern Ireland 2004-05 Home Shirt

Authentic and original Northern Ireland home shirt, as used during qualification for the 2006 World Cup, which the Northern Irish would ultimately fail to qualify for.

Being grouped with 2 other home nations, England, and Wales, Northern Ireland would finish in 4th in their qualifying group, with England qualifying as group winners, and Poland qualifying in 2nd, as one of the 2 best runners up. Winning only 2 of 10(!) games, these being against Azerbaijan, and more impressively, England, there was never really any hope of Northern Ireland qualifying, as they finished 15 points off 2nd place.

Shirt is in okay overall condition, one repair to a slight hole in the middle, and the odd wee mark here and there. It's labelled as a size small, but would probably best fit an XL Juniors, as it is quite small.
