Parma 2007-08 Home Shirt (Cristiano Lucarelli) (XL)

Authentic and original Parma home shirt, as used during the 2007-08 season, during which the Italian side would be relegated from Serie A, finishing in 19th, under the guidance of Domenico Di Carlo. Shirt is complete with nameset of Italian striker, Cristiano Lucarelli.

Interestingly enough, Lucarelli only wore the number 9 shirt this season, as his preferred number 99 was actually taken by Parma's back up goalkeeper, Nicola Pavarini, and since Lucarelli had only joined during the January transfer window (initially on loan), he had to make do with the number 9 shirt for his 16 game stint this campaign. As it was, he was unable to fire Parma out of the relegation zone, scoring 4 times in his 16 appearances, before signing permanently following relegation, opting to bring Parma back into Serie A, which ultimately he would do, finishing as top scorer for the club in the 2008-09 season.

There were a couple decent results for Parma in what was obviously a disappointment of a campaign, with high points being a 2-1 win over Palermo, courtesy of a last minute penalty, and a 2-2 draw with Juventus, where Parma would end the game with 9 men!

Overall, shirt is in very good condition. Nameset is excellent, sponsor has some wear as seen, and shirt itself is free of any pulls or bobbles. Size XL, with measurements provided in pictures.
