Portsmouth 2008-09 Third Shirt (S)

Authentic and original Portsmouth 3rd shirt, as used during the 2008-09 season, during which Pompey would compete in the Premiership, finishing the season in 14th, under the guidance of manager Paul Hart.

Having won the FA Cup the season prior, Portsmouth came into this season on a real high, with both European football, and a charity shield match against Manchester United to look forward to. In the league, they failed to really impress, finishing lower mid table, winning just 10 of their 38 league games. They failed to replicate their FA Cup heroics from the season prior, being knocked out in round 4, and they'd go out in round 3 of the League Cup too.

Their maiden European campaign saw them participate in the UEFA Cup, where they were placed in a group containing Wolfsburg, Milan, Braga, and Heerenveen, winning just one game - against Heerenveen, and going out in the groups. They did however claim a memorable point at home against Milan, having being 2-0 up before Ronaldinho, and Inzaghi pulled it level for the visitors.

Overall, shirt is in good condition. Some sponsor cracking and some wear here and there. Nothing major. Size small, with measurements provided in pictures.
