Authentic and original Santiago Wanderers away shirt, as used during the 2014-15 season, during which the Chilean side would finish in 2nd in the Chilean top flight, the Torneo Apertura.
Similar to other South American models, the league is split into two different tables, with all sides partaking in both leagues, the Apertura in the first half of the season, and the Clausura in the second half. It's a really confusing model in all honesty, but in essence, Santiago finished 2nd in the first league, and 17th in the 2nd league.
Their progression from the 1st league allowed them to take part in a mini knockout tournament, against the teams that finished between 2nd to 5th in the Apertura, to determine who would represent the nation in the Copa Libertadores, and the Copa Sudamerica. They would play Union Espanola in the semi finals, defeating them 6-5 on aggregate, before progressing to the final, where they would lose 9-2 over 2 legs to CD Palestino, meaning they would compete in the Copa Sudamerica.
Shirt is complete with nameset of Chilean defensive midfielder, Jorge Ormeno, who would make over 200 appearances for Wanderers over 2 spells, firstly between 1997 and 2004, before returning in 2012, staying at the club until his retirement in 2015. It is possible this shirt is a match issue shirt, with stitched league patches and nameset etc, but I am yet to have this fully confirmed. Sizing would match up roughly with the players size, but again, unconfirmed, so sold as a standard issue shirt.
Shirt is in very good overall condition, and is a size small, with measurements provided in pictures.
