Schalke 2006-07 Away Shirt (XL)

Authentic and original Schalke away shirt, as used during the 2006-07 season, during which the German side would finish in 2nd in the Bundesliga, under the guidance of Mirko Slomka. It came right down to the wire in Germany this season, with Schalke finishing just 2 points behind eventual champions VFB Stuttgart, with regular title winners Bayern Munich suffering a slump in form, and ultimately finishing in 4th, failing to even qualify for the UEFA Champions League! The side would also compete in the DFB Pokal, as well as the UEFA Cup, reaching the 2nd round of the German Cup, defeating Hansa Rostock 9-1 in round one, before eventual defeat to FC Koln in round 2. In the UEFA Cup, they would be defeated by French side Nancy, in round 1 of the competition. Players to play for Schalke this season included the likes of Manuel Neuer, Peter Lovenkrands, Kevin Kuranyi, and future Arsenal midfielder, Mesut Ozil. Kuranyi would also finish as the top scorer this season, with 17 goals in all competitions, of which 15 came in the league. Overall, shirt is in excellent condition, and is a size XL.
